About Registrations

In season 2024/25 we will be running mixed football age groups from U7's to U18's.

5v5:U7-U8; 7v7:U9-U10; 9v9:U11-U12, 11v11:U13-U18. We will also run girls age groups from U7's to U12's subject to sufficient interest.

We aim to make registration as easy as possible, we understand it takes time to gather the information to confirm your teams and contact details, so we do not expect you to provide everything up front. 


Please register your intent as soon as possible so we can start planning the season, but you may amend your entry later if you need to and add more information when you have it. 

Club Registration

Club & Team Contacts

After your Club and Team(s) are entered, each Club and Team contact is required to register their details on our contacts system , this is so we can contact the right person on league business, and for member clubs to arrange fixtures.

Player Registrations

Player registration on the FA Player Registration Systems is carried out by your Club and approved by the league as your players sign-up to play for you in SSYFL.

SSYFL Registration Dates 2024/25 Season

Contact us if you think you are going to miss a deadline. 

Registrations will be considered after the dates stated but may not be accepted. Club FA affiliation in WGS is separate to this and usually opens in early June, your county FA will advise when this is open. 

On 31st March 2024

Club Registration System disabled in preparation for Season 2024/25. Age groups rolled forward.

On 6th April 2024

Registrations open, renew or submit your Club Registration form from 6th April and by 30th June at the latest ahead of the League AGM. This is for planning purposes to include expected and confirmed teams. All team entries to be confirmed by 31st July.

From 1st June 2024

Once your club has registered, your club committee members and team contacts can register on our Club & Team Contacts System.

Early June 2024

Club FA affiliation and Player registrations open. Exact date TBC by FA Grassroots Technology.

1st July 2024

Members ratify Management Committee approvals or vote on new member clubs at our League AGM.

By 31st July  2024

All  Club Registration forms submitted and team entries confirmed.

By 1st August 2024

All Team Contacts registered, minimum one contact per team.

By 31st August 2024

Sign in and upload Rule 10 Agreement to your Club Registration record if signed form is required.

By 31st August 2024

Players registered on Player Registration System, minimum numbers = format played.

During Oct 2024

Club subscription and Team entry fees invoiced to Clubs for payment.

By 31st March 2025 

Last official date for player registrations.

Membership & Entry Fees

Fees for 2024/25 are included in the table below and are held at 2023/24 rates. 2024/25 Subscriptions and Fees are subject to member approval at the League AGM in June 2024. Clubs will be invoiced for subscriptions and entry fees in October.

Before contacting us

Please make sure you have your Club's approval to contact SSYFL about entering a club or team. Your club may already have an officer responsible for SSYFL registration who can help.

Is your team registered with a different league?

If you are thinking of moving team(s) from another league, tell us this on the registration enquiry form, you will have to give notice to your current league, so please contact them as well. 

If you have a registration enquiry and your club is not a current SSYFL member

Complete the enquiry form to the right. We shall note your interest and can answer any questions you have before you register, but if you are ready to apply now continue to Club Registration

If you have a registration enquiry and your club is a current SSYFL member

Your club should already have an officer responsible for your SSYFL club registration who may be able to help. This is usually your Club Secretary. If you still wish to contact the league about registration, complete the enquiry form.

We use a third-party membership system to securely store and access Club data...

Each SSYFL member club should have only one Club Registration record set up to be renewed each season, this is used to enter your Club and Teams in SSYFL, and to store basic Club, Team, and Officer information for administration purposes. 

Use of data 

When you submit a Club Registration you are requesting SSYFL to enter your Club and Team(s) in the league, the data we ask you to provide is used to do this and to operate your Club and Team(s) membership of the league. The data provided is also shared with the FA governing body and other FA Affiliated Club and Team contacts to enable your Club and Team(s) participation in SSYFL. The personal data we collect and the reasons for this are set out in our Privacy Notice.     

To register your Club with SSYFL as a new member Club…

Please complete a new registration on our Club Registration system. The email you register with will provide you with unique access to your Club's SSYFL registration record as the Registration Owner going forward, you or your Club can change the Registration Owner and login details to another person later if responsibilities change.
